2024-2025 Student Government

Adalyn Zhang ’29—Middle School Representative/ Class President

I plan to improve student mental health, create a clean and functioning class chat, organize interactive and fun events, and also to foster a more positive and collaborative schooling environment. I plan on fulfilling these goals through public service announcements, chat reforms, and events like my Talent Show and events for students to meet others and share tips for school!

Lila Shaffer ‘29—-Middle School Representative/ Class Vice President

I definitely want to set up some sort of mental health support system because I know a lot of middle school Pixels are new and struggle with the workload. I also want to start a queer/questioning MSers chat as well.

Teddy Kim ‘28Freshman Class President

I advocate for the voices of others to be heard, thus our core value of “Getting things done.” We are willing to take constructive criticism and feedback which includes complaints about our presidency and the general curriculum. No matter what, I am dedicated to serving the Class of 2028.

Amari Iqbal ‘28Freshman Class Vice President

Teddy and I want to make sure that this year can be a fun, efficient, and productive year, based on the input of the class. We also want to ensure that if anything is sub-par—whether it involves us, academics, social life, or anything else—we'll take immediate action to improve it to the best it can be.

Justin Guoji ‘26Junior Class President

My vision is to nurture a supportive, interconnected OHS community where every student feels genuinely heard, acknowledged, and valued. Through inclusive event planning, student well-being initiatives, and alumni spotlights, we aim to foster an environment of transparency, comradery, and student-centered support.

Boshen Zhang ‘26ーーJunior Class President

Whether you have inquiries or requests regarding your experience at OHS, we are here to make it a step easier. Justin and I are dedicated to making this year the best it can be for every individual, and we're so happy to be your Junior Representatives.

Hannah Bowman ‘25 Student Body President

As the student body president, I serve as the bridge between the student body and the school administration as I work with other student government representatives to support the OHS community! Whether I'm hosting Friday Night Live or coordinating spirit week, I'm here to make sure you have the best year possible.

Nathan Bowman ‘25Student Body Vice President

This year, I hope to continue helping the OHS community and bringing it closer together, this year by aiding all of our board chairs and class representatives.

Mathias Gomez ‘26Board Chair of Arts

This year, I am looking to have more art events and resources available for students! I noticed a lack of advertisement and participation in past years, so this year we will be hosting several monthly meetings, several competitions, and more! I am honored to be your Board Chair of Arts.

Kara Lee ‘25Board Chair of Club Relations

I hope to make the OHS club community an engaging, fun, and welcoming space for all students to pursue their interests!

Aanya Bhutani ‘26Board Chair of Mental Health

We'll achieve these goals together by holding workshops on mental health strategies, making OHS mental health resources more accessible, and hosting fun activities that incentivize OHS students to consciously participate in taking care of their mental health.

Piper Whittenburg ‘27Board Chair of Communications

I'm planning to help keep OHSers connected to Student Government and support them in any way I can. My favorite aspect of my position is sending out the Monthly Marshmallow each month! It's such a sweet way to keep students updated and supported throughout the month and I always hope it will make their days even just a little better.

Sadie ‘27Board Chair of Student Academic Support and Services

We're one community of learners, and that includes everyone at OHS, both the faculty/staff and the students. We're creating programs like Study Buddies and Academic Bulletins to help students connect with each other. The workload is undoubtedly difficult, but I want students to know that everyone is on their side and ready to help.

Izzy Nguyen ‘27—Sophomore Class President

We offer opportunities for building connections through online events, movie nights, and game nights, as well as for reducing stress by hosting alumni panels and regular alumni chats to provide encouragement and tips. Neel and I are committed to making this year the best it can be, and we're thrilled to serve on student government!

Neel Gadde ‘27—Sophomore Class Vice President

I am aiming for an engaging school year where I can help my classmates make the most out of sophomore year and to foster a healthy and inclusive learning environment for my peers by building events and areas for students to learn and have fun.

Neha Gadde ‘25 —Senior Class President

We are not only addressing the academic side of our seniors with college application workshops, senior littles, and senior advice columns, but we are also aiming to create cherished memories with senior sunrise, senior superlatives, and senior assassin.

Nascha Martinez ‘25 —Senior Class Vice President

In OHS, we are looking to not only grow our global sense of community, but also to show the importance of generating traditions that can be passed on through pixel generations.  Through events like Senior Sunrise or Senior Littles, our goal is to have a legacy every class can enjoy.
