OHS Spring Break Plans
Spring Break is a traditional one to two week-long vacation for schools and universities. It usually takes place during March or early April, hence the name Spring Break. In the week prior to the break, both students and teachers eagerly anticipate the time off.
Many people take the time to travel for vacation to popular destinations, including beaches in Florida, Texas, and Mexico. These warm-weather destinations are perfect for beach activities, partying, or music events. Airports are often packed with vacationers, all excited to begin their trips, while locals take day trips to those same spots.
Other Spring breakers prefer a staycation, which is a vacation spent at home or in one's local area rather than traveling out of town. The essence of staycations is a mix of at-home relaxation and local exploration, involving activities like spa days, backyard camping, movie nights, or visiting local attractions. In addition, staycations tend to be more convenient for those looking to relax, as they eliminate the hassle of packing, airports, and long travel times.
