A Trip Down the Memory Lane with the CO' 25
It’s a bit crazy how fast time can slip by. As the end of their high school years creeps closer than ever, Pixel Journal invites the Class of 2025 to look back on their time at and share some of their favorite memories from OHS.
Here’s what some of our seniors had to say:
What is your most special OHS memory?
Maeva Colt (Full-Time): Homecoming with my girls
Owen Faust (Full-Time): There are many specific moments I could share, but generally just the first time my friends and I see each other at every OHS event. No matter how often we call and talk virtually leading up to the event, we're always so excited to meet up in person again. Of course, class discussions were always fun, but meeting up with friends remained a consistent highlight every semester.
Zuri Ye (Full-Time): Walking around during events with friends
Nascha Martinez (Full-Time): Meeting Naiya!
Ethan Ish (Full-Time): Staying up until 4am at Grad
Sage Sawhney (Single-Course): Playing basketball at Summer@Stanford with friends every year
Tei Kim (Full-Time) : Competing at MIT Science Bowl for the first time
Silvia Ellis (Part-Time): S@S 2023 and making friends with OHSers for the first time!!
Amy Mo (Single-Course): Climbing trees at Summer @ Stanford!
Noelle Wu (Full-Time): Meeting my best friend in sophomore year - FTs with her almost every day, and meeting up whenever we can (usually like two or three times a year)
Quintessa Frisch (Single-Course): Breakout rooms
Isabel Hogben (Full-Time): Meeting my best friend at homecoming <3
Ellis Kuester-Ha (Single-Course): Baja Spring Break Trip
Vivaan Alleyne (Single-Course): Middle school graduation
Rasa Atluri (Full-Time): The Galapagos trip!!
Funniest Moment?
Maeva: 2022/2023 Globalization & Imperial Exchange class meme: Eww Span
Owen: My funniest moments should definitely not be quoted XD. My DM's get wild sometimes, and group study calls become utterly unhinged too often, but it's great.
Zuri: Getting lost on Stanford's campus
Ethan: Hearing a meme song orchestra be played
Sage: Playing hide & seek in the upper floors of the Green Library on campus
Tei: In 7th grade physics when Dr. Oparko explained how to draw force diagrams using a video of a cat knocking a glass of water off the table
Amy: Falling asleep in class and having the professor trying to wake you up.
Noelle: Hearing Dr. Chudzinski’s stories before class
Ellis: Making weird food pyramids (it made sense in the moment)
Vivaan: When McLuckie played guitar in class
Favorite class (so far)
Maeva: AP US History, TAA, or Globalization & Imperial Exchange
Owen: It's hard to pick -- all of them have been wonderful -- but Neuroscience, CRA, and MVC are up there. And, a somewhat controversial opinion, I really miss taking Physics C last year.

Zuri: DFRL was really interesting. It was a cool intersection between more abstract philosophy and application in the real world
