Letter from the Editor

Dear Reader,

I am extremely honored to be your new Editor-in-Chief for the 2023-2024 school year! I am excited to continue to work with the rest of the PJ editors and contributors to achieve the goals we have set out.

To start off, I want to thank Eryn Su for being a wonderful leader this past year. Her advice, creativeness, and advice will definitely be missed as she embarks on an exciting new journey in college.

The Pixel Journal was founded in 2016 in hopes that it would represent the diversity Stanford OHS students embody. It continues to do this through our vast selection of articles ranging from instructor & student spotlights to features on our various clubs and events.

Since I first joined the Journal as a freshman in 2020, I have seen first-hand its ability to connect the entire OHS body, including students, teachers, and faculty. Interacting with the Journal and reading the work it produces has allowed me to explore and understand areas and topics that were previously unfamiliar to me.

With this in mind, I hope that we will be able to continue inspiring and connecting the OHS community with each other. My goal is for the Journal to become an avenue through which students are able to not only better understand the community, but also themselves.

I am excited to lead the Pixel Journal during another year of growth and to continue forming long-lasting bonds and connections.

Sincerely,

April
